On October 28, 2004, Donna Davis-Stokes formed DPS Group as an electrical contractor, security electronics installer, and detention equipment installer. Over the last eighteen years DPS Group has grown and expanded to become a full service security electronics integrator, while remaining a full service electrical contractor for commercial, industrial, governmental, military and institutional settings.
DPS Group has specialized over the past nearly two decades by working in city, county, state, and federal correctional facilities and courthouse complexes all across the United States. Our ability to comfortably perform in all of our aspects of work has given us a flexibility, agility and knowledge to change with the ever evolving contracting market. We offer customers a unique single source for their electrical, security electronics, and detention equipment needs. With over 100 years of combined experience, our staff has a level of expertise that makes DPS Group an expert in our field.
In 2022 DPS Group became certified by the Small Business Administration as a Economic Disadvantaged Woman Owned Business (EDWOSB). This certification will allow us to grow the federal contracting arm of DPS Group and bring our offering of services, our skills and our attention to detail to a wider array of customers than ever before. We look forward to the exciting challenge that federal contracting brings and working with new customers and contractors in the coming years.
